While the sudden outbreak of COVID19 has brought China and the rest of the world to unprecedented tests to curb this global pandemic, many parts of the world has experienced extreme shortages of life-saving medical supplies, especially necessary personal protective equipment (a.k.a. PPEs) such as face masks, due to severe disruption to the global supply chain and shipping routes.

At personal level, many Preekem’s global partners faced exact challenges as the virus was sweeping their countries. In the eyes of Mr. Ni, President and CEO of Preekem, he simply couldn’t sit back without extending a helping hand and he was quick to take actions.

Since March 2020, Preekem has sent thousands of respirators to hard-hit countries such as Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Malaysia and Belarus, in supporting our international partners getting through this difficult time.

In China, Preekem’s operation has been on smooth recovery since mid February and its sales and production functions were fully resumed in March, thanks to the solid supply channels and collective efforts made by all employees.
